Hey ladies just want know how many months were you when you started shop for essentials pram, cot, bath etc I am 16 weeks is this too early ??? 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️😊😊😊😊 my first baby só I don’t know

I have bought things as i could. Before we knew the gender i bought the carseat, gender neutral, same as some clothes.

I’m 31 weeks and we still have yet to actually purchase anything. All we’ve got right now is just some larger clothing that my cousin passed on to us. Thankfully we already know what is needed so we don’t need to fret about running out of time or anything.

I'm only 5w4d and I've gotten some gender neutral items and clothes and some diapers from couponing...figured never to early to start...my parents are even worse 😂

With my first my husband and I went out and bought one cute little outfit together, then waited until after my shower... which was hard to do because it was less than a month before my due date. But it was worth it because I not only got so many things at it, I also got things as gifts leading up to it. For example my Mom bought us the car seat for Christmas. I do recommend waiting until after shower because even then, there are so many expensis with baby, and s many things, like diapers, you have to keep buying.

The only things we bought before my baby shower at 32 weeks were our crib, car seat, and stroller because we wanted specific ones, and we didn’t want people to buy different versions for us thinking they knew better than we did. Then we waited to see what we were given as gifts at the baby shower and filled any gaps in stuff we still needed from there.

We waited until our baby showers before buying anything, after that we got the remaining items we needed with the gift cards and money from the showers. We were about 32 weeks when we bought stuff.
