Severe cramping

Hi girls, my past few periods the cramps have been unbearable. Last month I threw up from the pain and almost passed out on the toilet, I ended up calling the non emergency services I was so worried. Now this AF I woke up at 2am last night in agony needing to take pain relief.... do you think there’s something underlying I should be worried about???? :(
