Untreated yeast infection...

I’ve been worrying quite a lot about this today. Last year, a rash started on the outside of my vagina (on my labia majora and crease where my leg is). It was about the size of a quarter but it was super itchy. I’d leave it alone and it would go away. Than it would come back and now it’s bigger and on both sides. It’s not huge, just in the creases where my legs start.

I’ve sort of just ignored it (I know, not a good idea) because I thought it would go away, but it doesn’t. I’ve been researching a lot and it really looks like jock itch. But I’m also not sure if it’s a yeast infection? My discharge seems normal. I’ve been applying lotriman for a few days now and it’s been helping.

I’m getting a yeast infection test in a few hours and seeing what that says. I was scared that maybe I did have a yeast infection all this time and that it would cause long term problems, but it doesn’t. I’m just hoping I can cure it on my own and figure out what it is. I’m not sure if I should go to urgent care tomorrow or schedule an appointment with my primary dr which will take a few weeks. Has this happened to anyone else??!!

The pic is of the rash...it doesn’t extend into my vagina or my a hole. Just in that little area.
