Where to give birth!?

My husband leaves for deployment in April so I will go into labor when he’s gone. My sister lives where we are stationed in Virginia, but other than that we don’t have anyone here.

I’ve been considering going home to spend the last months of pregnancy with family and deliver the baby there. We have a dog so if we go home we don’t have to worry about paying a dog sitter or finding someone to keep my 2 year old. Not to mention we will be moving to San Diego from Virginia Beach after the baby is born (husband will still be gone). So it will be the last time we see family because traveling from San Diego to my hometown would be really difficult with two children, a dog and the distance. I’m very indecisive on this. 🤣😫
