I'm 5'4" and 190 and ttc my doctor hasn't said anything to me about being over weight and getting pregnant. I alway loose 10-15 the first couple of months pregnant ( or I did with my last two) so I would say just eat healthy during your pregnancy and walk and you should be perfectly fine :) good luck Hun!!

I am 5"1 and was 171lbs when I got pregnant and everything was fine. My cousin was 5"4 and over 200lbs and her and baby are perfectly healthy. Of course it's healthier for yourself and baby to be in good physical shape but there are tons of women with tons of health issues who can still have very normal pregnancies. Just take care of yourself and if you get pregnant stay on top of it. Try not to give in to everything all the time. I had many many cravings when I was pregnant and of course I ate my cravings but I just tried to really watch my portion control as much as possible.

I had gained quite a bit of weight before I got pregnant last fall (blame getting married...or my husband convincing me I needed taco bell at 2 am all the time lol) and was up to about 175 at 5'5 when i got pregnant. I had gestational diabetes but that can happen no matter what your size. I had a fairly easy pregnancy with no morning sickness, worked up into my 38th week at a job where I was on my feet, induced at 39 weeks, easy labor and delivery with healthy baby. Gained around 25 lbs with pregnancy. You'll do fine.

I'm 5'7" was 210 with my son & he was born 9lbs 13oz!! The doctors were so happy to see "a healthy baby for a change". Guess most are fairly lower weight out here & they said he was the healthiest baby they had seen in a year!! My pregnancy was healthy. Didn't have high blood pressure or anything unusual. I walked a lot too though. Carried until I was 41 weeks & had to be induced but that was it. He still is very healthy:)
