I didn’t breast feed both times and got engorged really bad.

I think so, I had a miscarriage at 22 weeks and got induced and gave birth. My boobs were huge, sore, swollen and leaking for about a month

Yup. You do. No matter what you produce milk and it hurts lol. I bottle fed all my kids and they stay engorged for about a week before it calms down. I used a bandage (for sprained ankle) to do a tight bond around my chest and also has hot showers. It helps a bit but its still painful.
