Today my MIL texted me and asked if I would bring my two month old baby over to meet her friend. I agreed and went over this afternoon. Her friend was holding my baby and when I looked over she was kissing her cheeks and head!! Is it just me or is it not appropriate to kiss a strangers baby?! I don't care if it's your friends grandchild, to me that is crossing a line! Just because she's friends with my MIL doesn't mean we are friends by default. I also hate it when my MIL refers to my daughter as "our baby" and she knows that and does it anyways, it's like she's intentionally trying to piss me off. At least do it when we're not around. I could go on forever but I'll cut this rant short. Who else has a MIL who pisses them off?
