21 and going to a fertility specialist😷😲 do you guys think I'm to young to go see a fertility specialist? Iv been with my husband 2 years and we are both young and it hasn't happend yet I'm starting to think there is something more serious.

I'm 24 and am pregnant with my first child.  My husband and I have been ttc for over 2 years now.  I had a chemical pregnancy in December (miscarried a few days over 5 weeks).   I was diagnosed with pcos by a new obgyn.  Also was diagnosed with insulin resistance.  I wasn't impressed whatsoever with her plan of treatment (lack there of!) so I switched to a new doctor.  He's been great!  He had me run tests for 2 cycles, and started me on Clomid.  This was my first cycle on Clomid and I will be 5 weeks pregnant tomorrow!  My doctor had my labs done Tuesday and they have my first appointment and ultrasound scheduled for next Friday (6 weeks) to make sure we watch for any signs of miscarriage.  An obgyn can really help you!  If you're not impressed with your current doctors treatment, I highly recommend getting a second opinion!!!  Good luck sweetie!  😁💖

I think I wanted to answer this with a no but that wasn't an option. You seem responsible and if you have been trying for over a year then yes a fertility specialist may be the next step. If you haven't spoken with your Obgyn I would start there as it's usually covered by insurance and they may have some initial suggestion before anything invasive.

Regardless of your age if you have been trying for 2 yrs with no success you should see a specialist...however, if it is something simple your OB may be able to help. You could start there it's up to you. A specialist is expensive so something else to consider...
