So my bestfriend of 16 years has been upset with me my entire pregnancy. We have seen each once and talked on the phone twice since I have been pregnant. Mind you, I am 38 weeks and 3 days. Since she and I had not talked, I didnt invite her to my gender reveal but I did invite her to the shower which she did not show. Each time I have tried to set a play date with our kids, she backs out last minute. So I reached out to her two weeks ago and today just to let her know when the baby will be born and I have yet to get a response. Should I just walk away and act like her or should I keep trying to connect with someone that I thought was my bestie?

She just ended our friendship. She say she doesn't want to give details but she thinks it's best for her.

I am truly a mess right now. To me, we were like sisters before this year started. But I guess I have to accept her choice because it is her choice right? Ugh so heartbroken
