Even though I'm only four weeks I met with my first Doula today and oh my gosh what an amazing experience this woman is wonderful and so comforting and caring I know she'll be the one to help me on my big day. She told me stories about many of the verse that she has attended including her grandsons which started her career as a Doula. She gave me the names of a couple different couples with very different birth experiences Who gave her their permission for me to contact them. She told me a little bit about hypnobirthing which does allow for a fairly painless delivery if done correctly. She's all about  Women empowering themselves with information and not just following your doctors orders blindly because they don't always know what's best for your body. I want as natural a birth as possible unless an absolute emergency arises. She assured me that if I know my wishes and I have someone there to support me this is entirely possible.   Can't wait for hubby to meet her in a month!
