Should kids have their own rooms?

When they reach a certain age yes. But when they’re little like 6-7 they can share a room

I think so. I don’t think it’s appropriate for opposite genders to share a room, nor children with too large of an age gap. 
My son’s will be 3 years apart and will have their own rooms.

My sisters and I always had our own rooms growing up. My husband and his brother did as well. So we'll be doing the same in our home.

For me I say yes, because I've been on both sides. It sucked sharing a room. No privacy. Different bed time and wake up schedules. I was OCD and clean, my sister was the total opposite. And over all I needed a place to be alone and i never had that (since we always had 7 people in the house).

Personally, I believe children should have their own room if space permits of course. However, that's just my opinion 🤷🏾‍♀️ We only have one child right now, but we do plan to have one more in a few years. They will not share rooms. Now of course we live in a big house and have enough bedrooms so our children will not have to share a room. I do understand that all people do not have the space for every child to have separate rooms. If that's the case then I'm all for room sharing. Otherwise, I think children should have their own rooms.
