Sore Throat! Strep?

Came home from work yesterday around 4pm and started to get a sore throat on the way home. Basically couldn’t sleep all night due to the pain. This morning I really can’t talk unless I force myself to. Debating whether or not to go in and get checked for strep. The OB nurse said I was doing everything I could so far to keep it from getting worse but it’s not getting any better either. I don’t have a fever but my nose is incredibly stuffy.

Would you wait another day to get checked or go the first full day you had a sore throat?
