Today, at four months postpartum:

breastfeeding did NOT help me get back into shape like so many claimed it would. It so greatly reduced my activity level. I’ve finally been able to pump enough to sneak away to the gym a few days a week and it feels so good. I’m a competitive runner, so I hoping to celebrate my sons first birthday with a half marathon and the a full marathon at 18 months.
