I'm all for cloth mainly because we want a large family, and over time, using them over and over for each child we will save thousands! But the fact that there's no chemicals etc are a huge plus too. They can get pricey but if you shop around to get the best deals even before you're pregnant you can save a lot!

I've dealt with cloth diapers and it was knarly. 😷 I kept gagging. I'd rather throw the in the diaper genie and move on.

Just think a cloth diaper is reusable where as you can spend like 20 dollars on a small bag of diapers that can last a week.

I thought cloth diapers were gnarly until I started nannying for a family that uses them. I like that: 1. More environmentally friendly 2. Organic cloth won't hurt your littles bum, 3. I didn't find them any less convenient (we use the ones with the clip in liners, the shells can be reused) 4. They look so stinking adorable

I prefer disposable ones. I'm only 10 weeks but have about 5 packs of diapers already. I buy them as I see them on sale. Walgreens have them buy 1 get 1 50%off. They are like $11.49 then 50% off. At Walmart they are like $8.88 a pack.  I'm just buying as I go so I don't have to worry.  Also, whichever diaper you choose, have everyone bring a pack to the baby shower. Tell everyone that to get in you have to a pack...lol. That's what I'm going to do...lol

If you don't mind cleaning a shit filled diaper then cloth is more earth friendly but I personally can't clean the diapers so throw away is better for me.
