Bf’s mum

My bf and I have been dating for 2 months and I really like him, but we haven’t been able to meet up just the 2 of us yet because his mum doesn’t like me or at least doesn’t have a good idea of me in her head, because he is my best friends ex (she has moved on and I checked with her before dating him) and when she was dating him she messed with his feeling a lot and really hurt him which yes was a really shitty thing to do and I was there to help him through everything, his mum is worried that I’m going to mess with his feelings and hurt him like my friend hurt him just because of my association with her but I’d honestly never do that, their relationship was on and off for a little over a year and my last relationship for a year and a half, any advice on how to try and get her to see I’m not that awful? I’d never hurt him and even before we started dating he was one of my best friends and I’d hate to see him get hurt, I don’t have a way to talk to her except if he does it for me, what can I do!?!?
