Hi, I had the non hormonal copper IUD (Nova T380) inserted 2 days ago (Thursday). I'd be interested to hear anyone elses experiences after insertion...

- how long cramping/spotting lasted after insertion

- if you switched straight from the pill to the iud (and if so, when did your first period come on the iud)

- what were your periods like in the months following insertion, and did they improve after a while etc.

- if you use a menstrual cup or tampons with your iud

Like I said, I'm 2-3 days post insertion and I'm still very crampy.
