C-Section Mamas??

Question

How many of you are having a c-section? While in labor with my son, I had to have an emergency c-section due to complications and have chosen to take that route this time. 
I’ve heard it’s always worse when it comes to recovery after the 1st? Any input??
9 weeks today, due 6/18 but will get a scheduled date closer to deliver 💕

I am truly on the fence about a second C-section. My first was breech. My doctor is fine with a VBAC however my first was a over 8lbs and I am a small person so I am concerned about my ability to get an even bigger baby out. I have plenty of time to decide.

I am! Had an emergency csection with my daughter since I was induced 2 weeks early and she was breech anyway. They gave me the option to do a VBAC this time but with my BP being a problem again (the reason I got induced last time) I’m just going to do a csection again. I’m REALLY nervous because the csection was terrifying for me but on the upside I’ve heard that its easier to heal the second time since it’s just through scar tissue so we’ll see 🤞🏼

I had a c section bc my son was breach! My doctor won’t do vbacs so I have no choice but to do another c section! Good luck to you!!!

Just like each pregnancy is different so is each csection instead of us focusing on one aspect we should focus on how well we heal and follow Doctor's instructions I have had four vaginal births and four C-sections two non medicated and the others with an epidural I think going in with a clear mind and plan is key to recovery

I’ve had two csections . They both sucked lol. The first hurt like hell and the second I attempted vbac so baby was down there for a long time so my vagina hurt as well as the cut. Just brace yourself, it’s not going to be all roses but you do heal quick. Praying for your fears. ☺️ You’ve got this mama!

I had a c-section with my first (currently pregnant with my second) I didnt have an emergency c-section or anything tho, I just did not dilate past 2 after having 7 shots to stop contractions. My dr was all for me trying vbac this time. He did say that they would watch me more closely than normal and if one thing even twitched the wrong way I would definitely have another c-section.

I will be having my 3rd csection this time around. My 2nd was WAY easier recovery than my 1st. Mainly due to no labor & fatigue, I knew what to expect, & asking for help was easier... again cause I knew what to expect. I spend 1 night in the hospital & was ready to go home. Try not to worry.

I had an emergency section with my little girl (pregnant with my second) I honestly want a planned section this time they really forced me down natural path when I had pre-eclampsia and tried inducing me for 3 days, took two attempts to break my waters and put on the drip for 10hrs only to find out I had only dialated 2cm and was rushed in to theatre put to sleep and lost 2litres of blood while on the table! I was close to never meeting her and I will not let this happen again!
