So for some background of myself, my first csection was due to my son having Spina Bifida so he was unable to come through my birth canal because it could have damaged his opening more. My second csection was a repeat because I was not educated on other options. I had a miscarriage in March of 2017 that required me to have a d&c due to the placenta not passing. I was 10 weeks along at the time. I am now 34 weeks with our final baby girl. This whole pregnancy I was told I can partake in having a VBA2C till Friday that is... my obgyn informed me that after a meeting they had that morning, the other doctors frowned upon my decision and because of a vote they can no longer support my decision to go forth with a vba2C at that hospital... my obgyn also informed me that I literally only have a few weeks left due to me already dilating and contracting that he doesn’t believe I will make it to my original due date. He told me that we can either schedule my csection (which he did because it’s easier to cancel a section than to schedule one) or I can switch to a hospital that is over 2 hours away from me depending on traffic to go forth with my vba2C. I am up in the air at this point on what to do. I have 2 other children who depend on me however recovery time and weighing out the pros and cons of each has played a huge factor. Who has had a 3rd csection? Was it much worse with healing time? Please share your experience with me!!
