I never knew having a baby shower for a second/third child was an issue 😳 I have many nieces and nephews and each one of them has had a shower even if they’ve had siblings before them

I have a lot of friends and family who are excited and really want to celebrate this second baby so I'll be having another shower. Almost everyone I know does a shower for every baby. I think every baby should be celebrated! But you don't always need a shower to celebrate. Everyone's situation is different and friend group is different.

I threw my own sprinkle for my second but for our 3rd I’m throwing my own shower only bevause shes our first girl after 2 boys I see no wrong in doing showers or sprinkles each kid should be celebrated ❤️

I personally find it rude to have another full blown shower with #2 unless there is a large age gap between kids or a different father/family is involved. That's just my personal opinion. If say my family threw a shower for my first and then my husbands family wanted to throw one for #2 I would let them but request no gifts just the company to celebrate baby.

It’s not a big deal if you do. 
I’m doing a baby BBQ in the summer to introduce our newest member ! But I also don’t find baby showers fun

My sons godfather actually went all out and got us literally everything we needed. Travel system and clothes, he won’t wear the same outfit twice! He has been amazing to us! We only need one or two items now

I am having my second boy, first is only 19 moths so there is no need. But I think if I were having a different gender, or they were more years apart, I might feel different.
