34 weeks and eating dates , does this really work?

They say eating dates eases and induced labor is this really true ?!

I’m not sure about inducing labour, but with my first I’m sure it was eating dates from 35 weeks that made me have a super quick labour (3hrs 26mins)  dates are supposed to help with dilation and I was 8cm within about an hour. I also drank raspberry leaf tea from 32 weeks and I’m sure that strengthened my contractions.

I ate 4-6 dates a day for the last 2 months with my first pregnancy. I was 2 weeks late, so it didn't help to induce labor. I did only push for about 30 minutes(active labor for 8 hours), and only bled for about a week after. So, eat dates😂! Haha. It's seemed to help for me.

Eating dates does not help endure labor, but it does help ripen your cervix, there are studies that have proven that they help, but they are disgusting lol. I've been eating 6 a day starting last week and I can't stand them. I have also benn drinking 3 cups of raspberry leaf tea since 34 weeks

My midwife told me to start eating 5 dates a day at 35 weeks, among other things.
