Never would I have thought I’d be having a type of MIL issue but yep I am. After four years, my SO’s Mom finally let it be known that she doesn’t care for me and doesn’t even want me to visit with my SO at her house. For the past four years, she’s been lying and saying “I don’t have anything against her”, but she’d act differently towards me. So for all that time, my SO would be irritated with me for not wanting to go do things that involved her. For the past six months I’ve just been saying no when he’s ask me to go over there or be involved with a family event. But now My SO says he doesn’t want me uncomfortable anywhere I go so you know what that means ladies?!?! I’m FREE AT LAST! I don’t have to be bothered with that uncomfortable feeling ever again. I don’t have to argue with him when I was tryna tell him that his mother didn’t like me but he wouldn’t believe me. I don’t have to ever see her grumpy ass, no smiling self ever again! Better to know the truth.
