I saw my fertility doctor for the first time a month ago and confirmed that I have PCOS. I have cystic ovaries, symptoms and hormonal issues. He prescribed metformin and then to take letrozol once I get my period. I’m started of the for week at 500, second week at 1000 and 1500 to reach my high dosage for metformin.

Well I’m on cycle day 30 and still have not ovulated. (I test daily and temp) my cycles have never gone past 44 days.

Did y’all have to take time for it to work or did it work right off the bat? Did you have success with metformin?
