I am only 12 weeks postpartum but am worried I may be pregnant...

I am exclusively breastfeeding, and with my first baby (2.5yr old) my period didn’t return until I was 18 months postpartum (when we stopped feeding). However I have had a few ‘symptoms’ of pregnancy (nose bleeds, the runs... bad skin.. cramping...)

We have only had unprotected sex once or twice just over a week ago. Test is negative... but my tests with my 12 week old were negative when I already had quite a few symptoms.

I guess my question is ... can you get pregnant even if you’re period hasn’t returned/ shouldn’t return for quite a while...

Do you ovulate even if your period doesn’t come each month?!

Sorry if these questions sound silly... dr. Google just hasn’t given me any real answers.
