Hiding his phone?!?

So ever since I’ve known my boyfriend (we’ve been official for 8 months and i won each other for little over a year) he’s been weird about his phone. Like he doesn’t hide it and he leaves it out but he won’t let me see his Snapchat, Instagram dms, or texts really. And like I leaned over to open his dms to show him something that I sent him and he pulled back and I got upset cause i was just trying to open our convo and he said he thought it was because I saw 2 messages. And then he said he has a right to his privacy and that he might be having a personal conversation with someone that I don’t need to see. But I’m sketched out & i don’t want to act crazy. What do you guys think?

I hate when chicks say “ he just wants his
Privacy.” 🙄🙄 there’s a difference between wanting your privacy and getting shady anytime you try to look at his phone. I’m married and my husband can touch, use , go through my phone anytime he wants- and vice versa. That’s because I have nothing to hide. I have my privacy, he has his. We don’t go through eachothers things because we don’t feel The need to. 
I’ve gone through my
Ex’s things before and that was because i had a gut feeling. And i was right. I’m all for going through your mans phone if you’re feeling like he’s hiding something. You have a right to know. Keep us posted girl !

Well, I talk to my friends about a lot of personal, private stuff, I guess I'm like your boyfriend, I like my privacy. 
But it also depends on the relationship. I hid things from my ex because he would get mad about literally everything, he hated me ever talking to people and took things way wrong. I wasn't up to anything, but I couldn't tell him anything. Like I enjoy talking about dating & sex with my friends,  or even random ppl like ya'll, my ex would have flipped even though, it's completely innocent tbh... not flirting, just being open with ppl... usually trying to help or let them vent.
In my new relationship, all that stuff seems totally acceptable because we were very honest with each other in the beginning & he knows I won't lie to him, because I don't feel like I have to. I have a right to my privacy, but I don't care if he sees my phone and stuff, im not scared of what he'll see if he reads my messages... but it also wouldn't be nice to my friends if i just let him, because people tell me VERY PERSONAL stuff! I'm the "hey theres a spot on my genitals" friend, people trust me.
I don't know what your relationship is like or who your bf talks to or why he is afraid. He may not tell you out of fear if there's something specific, even if it is anything serious. 
Does he think you'll get jealous because he is talking to any female, even if he isn't flirting? Would you be? 
I guess talk to him about trust and maybe you can help assure him.he can be open with you, if it's true. 
It feels much better knowing you know  the truth than only hearing what you want to and not being sure, imo.

Nope nope nope. Not right at all. I say move on from him. Cause it will just get worse if your relationship continues. You will constantly be wondering who he texting. Wanting to talk to him about it. Where does he go when not with you. What is he doing when not with you. On and on and just make you go insane from not getting the truth. I say leave while you can.
