Losing mucus plug at 29 weeks?

Question

I keep wiping and getting jello like globs of mucus that come out. It’s been a lot now like I lose a dime size at a time? Should I call the doctor?

I’ve been loosing mine off and on since 12 weeks. My OB said it’s normal and has to do with hormone levels. She said as long as it’s not bloody everything is fine and that you’ve only lost part of it. I never had this with my first.

It regenerates. As long as there isn’t blood in it you should be okay. I’ve been losing chunks for awhile now, I’m 32 weeks

That’s what I thought but wasn’t sure. I’m at risk for preterm labor which is the only reason I was concerned but I’ll call the doc soon

I lost my mucus plug at 26 weeks and got told it was fine as sometimes it comes out then reforms and doesn’t come out again till later on. But if you’re worried it wouldn’t harm to ring your doctor, hope everything is ok x
