Frustrated!

So I've been having contractions that are about 11 minutes apart! I'm 37 weeks and they are pretty strong. I called my Dr. to explain all of this as it's all new to me as this is my first pregnancy and for some reason in frustrated me that he was so calm and nonchalant about my concerns. Does this frustrate anyone else when their Dr. just is so calm about your worries questions and concerns or am I crazy!
