Plus size pregnancy?????

Is a plus size healthy pregnancy possible? I've been trying to conceive to about a year now. I've had a few signs but I haven't tested yet. I spotted for 1 day and have yet to start, nausea, sore feet, and some cramping. I would talk to my mother about this but she told me I'll die if I get pregnant. (She's not very supportive)

Yes I’m not super overweight but I have gained much. And although I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and gestational diabetes both are well controlled. I was even taken off the blood pressure medication a few weeks ago.

Well I considered myself obese at 200 pounds and 5’2. I tried for 9 months to get pregnant around that weight and my body never let it happen. I started dieting and exercising and lost 40 pounds in 3 months and got my metabolism back in gear. At the 3rd month of working out, I got my BFP. Now I’m 9w4d and have my first prenatal visit tomorrow. I strongly believe all my extra weight was holding me back, but I worked my ass off to lose that 40 pounds. I was going to the gym 6-7 days a weeks, walking 2+ miles 5 days a week when I first started. I now stay around 155-162 which is still overweight for how short I am but it’s better.

It’s very possible. I’m 37wks5ds rn and I was plus size when I conceived. It’s been a very healthy pregnancy.
