We split the rent...on our own we couldn't afford it ( he is waiting on a very big promotion) but right now he says he's drowning in debt due to travel costs( tolls, parking) and is just financially unable to afford our place...so he wants to move back home to his parents..... BUT leave me out! Once I moved out of my parents home it was a no turning back kind of situation (long story) and he knows I can't afford it on my own, and its only a 1 bedroom so its hard to convince a friend to move in or get a roommate. And all this was told to me yesterday AMD he is moving out at the end of THIS month. I'm so hurt and screwed I have no idea what to do!? I need all and any advice!

I have family I can stay with but its a very unhealthy household and really far from my job. I have been looking this morning for cheap apts but idk how I can find a place pack everything and get a moving truck all in less than 2 weeks! So insane! I'm so in shock I have no idea what to think
