Leaking amniotic fluid?

Question

Has anyone else leaked amniotic fluid and what did it feel like? 
Last night I felt a small gush of something while I was cleaning my kitchen but it was mucousy and I just changed my panty liner. Last night I continued to feel super wet and starting to wonder if it’s more than just discharge. I seen my midwife today and she wants me to go get it checked for sure but just curious on everyones else’s stories of this occurring.

I did with my first baby. I went to sit down and it felt like I peed a little. I didn’t think much of it, I figured it was normal for pregnant women. But it happened 2 more times that same morning and when I called L&D they had me come in and she was born 10 hours later after they broke the rest of my water.

I went to get checked wondering if I was. Quick swab said nope! Wishful thinking eh?
Worth getting checked better they know sooner rather than later :)

I thought I was leaking amniotic fluid went to get checked and turned out to just be watery mucus. I felt daft but better to get checked just in case!

Update: 
Wasn’t my water leaking which is good since I would have had to be induced and I really an trying to avoid induction. But wow this discharge is disgusting. The nurse explained it that our bodies produce the discharge to loosen up our cervix so really hoping that that means this baby is coming soon.. tomorrow is our due date but original due date was the 21st. I’m now thinking that this baby wants to come or share his daddy’s birthday (daddy’s bday is November 22nd). Plus the next full moon is the 23rd
