Is this fair?

Question

I’m the oldest of my siblings and have my
own house with my husband. 
I allowed by younger brother to move in with his girlfriend so they could have a place and a sense of responsibility.
When they moved in my mother (who lives very close to me) told them they should move out once I get pregnant.
I’m due in July and telling everyone on Christmas.
Is 7 months enough time for them to save to move out? Or should I make it shorter? Or longer?

That amount of time seems perfectly reasonable to find a new place. But do YOU want them out or does your mom want them out? If you’re ok with them staying I don’t see why that has to change. Especially if they’re responsible and could be helpful when the baby comes. Up to you of course, it just sounded like your mom thinks they should move out and not you.

You've been generous in letting them stay with you at all. That's plenty of time for them to find another place to live - no need to feel guilty about it!
Of course, if you want them to stay longer or leave sooner that's fine too.

Personally if I would still have a room available even once the baby comes I wouldn’t tell them to leave. But if I didn’t than once the baby comes he/she will be young enough to stay in a bassinet in your room, so I would give them until then

I'd make it shorter. You need some time to get ready without extra people living with you. And what if your baby comes early?
