What age did/will your kid get a tv in their room?

My oldest is 5 and a half and for Christmas me and dad were considering getting a tv for her room. She doesn’t play with her toys and hates being in her room. We don’t want to waste money on toys she won’t play with. And we also wonder if having a tv would encourage her to play in her room while she watches tv. Thoughts?
