Marriage counseling

Any of you ladies do/have done couples or marriage counseling with your SO ? How did it go ? Did it help/hurt ? How did you get your man to oblige ?? I'm seriously considering it but I wanna know some experiences and I also am afraid that he's not going to agree with doing it.
