HPT can't measure HOW pregnant you are. Opinions?

Of course a pregnancy test can't tell you how far along you are, only if you're pregnant or not. But some people say that the line should get darker as you get further along. So what do you think about the following pictures. The top one is 2 days before my miscarriage started and the bottom is after I had already been bleeding for 6 days with my levels going down. Just thought it was interesting...
