One of things itching away at me is the fact that we have two dogs (indoors all day except for walks and potty time) and an indoor cat. My husband wants to get rid of one dog and give the cat away to his friend for a few weeks while the baby is brand new. I, however, love my animals, and don’t know how I feel about giving away our dog. The cat going to his friends place for a while is okay with me—because she will most likely not enjoy the first few weeks of little attention and not having everything be about her, and as all cats she’s nosy and doesn’t take change lightly—and will return when baby is fully comfortable and she can ease into things. Anyone in something slightly similar of a situation?
