We moved out of state just shy of halfway thru my pregnancy. I had no clue what I was gonna do with my toddler while my husband and I had our 2nd baby. Luckily my mom was willing to make the trip down from MI to NC to help us out and be here for me. I went in for an emergency c-section with my first at 35 weeks 5 days so I was really worried I wouldn’t make it full term and preeclampsia would strike again. My repeat c-section was scheduled for 39 weeks 1 day and my mom was due to arrive 3 days before. I am so relieved to say that everything worked out perfectly. My mom arrived over the weekend and tomorrow morning is the big day! After such an unexpected first delivery, I’m so happy this one went as planned. Ladies, having preeclampsia once does not mean you will have it again.
