Light bleeding after doctor checking cervix?

I’m 37 weeks and 2 days. Had my appointment today and she checked my cervix. I’m not dilated but my cervix is soft. I am having slight cramping and light red/brown bleeding. Is this normal?

This is normal, my doc said to call if it was more than a quarter sized amount of blood. But if you feel like something is wrong there is nothing wrong with calling!

Just from your cervix being irritated. As long as you aren’t filling a pad with red blood you’re good
