Early ovulation!?

Does anyone ovulate 5-8 days after their period but have a normal 28 day cycle!?

I ovulated at day 9, so we tried now the waiting game is killing me!

I’m pretty sure I ovulated on CD 8 with my daughter & usually 30-32 day cycle! I was taking ovulation tests constantly & it was positive again on CD 23, took an EPT couple days later & it was positive!
