Spotting after stopping birth control

I stopped birth control about 6 weeks ago and am TTC and have had three different episodes of spotting for multiple days. The doctor said this was normal after stopping the pill for a little while. Just wondered if anyone else had this issue and if they did how long it lasted. Any help would be great as I am currently worrying as usual

Mine started in the middle of October way before I was due for my next shot on Nov 2nd. I haven’t gone back to get another one, I’ve just been spotting off/on but no real cycle in over 40 days.

I had some spotting,nausea as well as ovulation pain. I planned on switching birth control but I don’t want it if it’s going to make me feel like this once I stop
