I had 3 miscarriages in a 12 month span. It’s devastating & depressing. I was fortunate enough to finally have my rainbow at age 41 & a very healthy pregnancy. Now, I just found out I’m 4 weeks pregnant & it looks like I’m going to miscarry again. My initial hcg blood test came back low so I’m not very hopeful. I don’t have any pregnancy symptoms either so now I’m just waiting. I wasn’t expecting this pregnancy but it’s just as much of a loss as the others. Surround yourself with a good support system & know you’re not alone. I know this is my body’s way of telling me that it’s not a healthy baby but it’s still a loss. Take time to heal & mourn. 💔

Nothing I can say can fix anything. I found out last week and just had my d&c. Before all this I never thought I was strong enough to go through this but i have prayed for peace and I believe God is providing that for me. I ordered a bracelet from Etsy to remember my little one and everyday I am able to talk about it a little better without crying. Talking about it has helped me. Download podcasts (just search miscarriage) listening to others stories can help and make you feel less alone. Have faith and you will get through this. This has strengthened my marriage and this little baby has taught me so much in such a short time and for that I am forever grateful. If you do get a d&c I asked for genetic testing be done on the baby so we can figure out what caused this so we know when we are ready to try again. It’s tough, cry it out. Create a memory box, write in a journal, do what you feel like you need to do to get through this dark time.
