When did you tell your friends/family you were pregnant?

What made you decide on telling everyone then?

We told our family right away, I was about 4-5 weeks. We waited till we heard the heartbeat at 11 weeks to tell everyone else

Parents and siblings pretty much immediately, and two friends. The rest I told after 12w scan.

We told our parents with our last pregnancy at 5 weeks, sadly it turned out ectopic and also parents disnt keep it to themselves as asked so too many people knew, which led to a constant flow of reminders as people sent condolences. So this time we are making them all wait the same...12 weeks.

We told our parents at 3weeks 4days and 4weeks 4days. Super early yes. I originally wanted to wait until my first ultrasound at 6weeks 3days, but my fiance was far too excited and told his parents 3days later. So I ended up telling mine a week after that. I'm 23weeks 3days now and baby is very healthy and growing strong!

I'm about 4-5 weeks along and I am planning on telling my family and extremely close friends when I'm around the 8-10 week mark. I don't plan on announcing it to the rest of the world until after 12 weeks. I just don't want to jinx anything and I'd rather not get excited and tell everyone and then have to have the extremely uncomfortable "I lost the baby" conversation.

We will be telling our families tomorrow!! It just worked out that my son's 2nd bday party fell at a time we are comfortable telling everyone. I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow and can't wait to see their reaction!

With my first pregnancy, we told family immediately. Keeping it a secret this time around has been SO fun!! 👏🏼😄

I told my immediate family around 8 or 9 weeks. My husband's family learned with everyone also at 13 weeks. I waited because after suffering a miscarriage at 12 weeks, it was very difficult contacting everyone over the course of a week. It was like reliving it over and over again. Then having a couple people I forgot to tell asking me how my baby was a few weeks later was torture. I wanted to make sure this pregnancy was viable before I told people.
