Progesterone Supplements Taken Vaginally?

Hi, I’m 9 weeks tomorrow and after taking my blood last week my doctor prescribed me progesterone because my levels are low (8.4). 
So I’m freaking out worried I might miscarry, and on top of that the pills have to be inserted vaginally every night before I go to bed for the next 12 days😱
Has anyone else had to deal with this??

I’ve been taking those for 4 weeks already I will continue until my 12 weeks, as prescribed by my doctor. Three times a day, two pills, vaginally. Apparently, it has fewer side effects and better absorption if administered directly where it belongs ;-)
It’s not bad, but be prepared to wear panty liners at all times.

Thanks so much everyone for the reassurance, my doctor just called and told me my levels have jumped from 8 to 33😱😁 So so relieved and happy- definitely worth the weirdness of the pill😂

I had to do them vaginally for around 4 weeks.. I was bleeding but when I started taking them it stopped within days and everything turned out to be fine!

I take them morning and night because of ivf, have done them since the start of October and doing them out November. It's not bad, just have sex before taking them and not after.

I take 2 orally and 1 vaginally every night. I’ll be on them until we start weaning off at 12 weeks and fully off by 15 weeks.

They can be inserted vaginally or taken orally. I had a bad reaction to them vaginally because I have a sensitive uterus. Your levels will be fine, mine dropped and then I started progesterone and in 3 days they jumped to 110! Best of luck, dont have any worries!

I take one vaginally at night it's 100mg my levels are considered normal, last checked at 7w5d was 15
