I don’t know a single midwife, doctor, or nurse who recommends it for a healthy full term infant. So I just followed sleep guidelines and spent the money on stuff that was more fun

I have friends who say that they are really happy to have it!  It makes it easier for them to sleep knowing that they’re going to be alerted if something is wrong. I received one as a gift from my family. A few people pitched in to make it more affordable for each of them to contribute to me and my bf being able to have it. While I am still pregnant and haven’t been able to say from experience, I think it will be a great item for us. If you don’t receive one as a gift, I would recommend looking on Facebook market, or buying it from the company directly and using their payment plan!

I have one and it’s been amazing, my daughter was in the nicu for oxygen issues. She is two months now and it’s been such a reassurance. I say it is totally worth it.

I've heard that: 
1) way to expensive
2) baby would kick it off sending more alarm to the parents than it did helpful
3) baby only wore for a short amount of time so it wasn't worth the significant amount of $$$

I absolutely love mine, i think it’s worth every penny in exchange for a good nights sleep without worrying about SIDS.

I bought a snuza! Much cheaper and seems to work great. We've been using it for about 2 months now (my baby is just about 4 months). My SOs cousin died from SIDs, so we just wanted a little added security. 
We've had two false alarms from it falling off, so it really doesn't happen often at all.

Nope. I think it’s a good idea but people have raised kids for years without this kind of technology. Personally if I had gotten it I’d always be checking it and stressing for no reason.

I returned mine , it sent us to the hospital for false/bad reading. So expensive and not worth it , I slept much better with my baby by my side and able to hear her breathing
