late period - lost virginity

my boyfriend and I had protected sex a couple days ago. it was also the first time I had sex. my friend said that sex can change your period and it can come later than usual because of hormones. is this true? i’m 5 days late. i’ve also been every stressed with school and my late period and i know that has an impact as well.
