Condoms as your only form of birth control?

I'm 16 and I'm not on birth control. I'm afraid it will mess up my cycles. Me and my boyfriend always use a condom and have never had any slip ups yet. Is this OK to be doing? Should I be concerned?

You should get on birth control🤷🏻‍♀️. But yeah it’s okay, at least you’re using protection. Should have $50 saved just incase something does happen & you have to buy a Plan B though🤣🤷🏻‍♀️

I can’t take hormonal birth control. I was on 2 different pills and they both gave me horrible side effects.
My husband and I have been using only condoms as birth control for 3 years and we’ve never had a pregnancy scare!
Just make sure you check the condom after sex for any holes or rips and take Plan B if the condom breaks.
In 3 years, we have never had a single condom break, and we have sex a lot! 😅

I've been using only condoms for a year and a half. My partner and I have sex almost every day, often multiple times a day. We've never had a break, leak, or tear. It works for us.

There are options for non-hormonal birthcontrol. I use a ladycomp/cyclecomputer. If used correctly it is as save as the pill. You could combine that with the condoms and you are extra safe!

as long as you haven’t had any slip ups it’s ok. i think as a teen using two forms of BC is better but if it’s working for you its working for you

It is, but it's just hard because you always have to be so diligent and a little mess up could get you pregnant. When in doubt, use two methods
