Well we've been engaged for over 2 years. My parents met his dad about 6 months ago when he came to look at the place we'd started renting (my parents live local) and my mum has met his mum when we went for afternoon tea while his mum was visiting about a month ago. My dad will probably never meet his mum. I don't see the point in them meeting seeing as they would have literally nothing to talk about, all the other meetings happened by chance.
We're also having a private wedding so they won't be meeting then either.
