Angular cheilitis? Or herpes???

So earlier my corner of my lips cracked and were really sore like cause the cold and then my left side healed but my right side didn’t. It left a reddish bump it gets better everyday and it hurts a little. But I’m worried it’s herpes??? But my partner doesn’t have herpes he was checked. So??? But could it be or could it be angular cheilitis?

Genital herpes is a different virus then the cold sore herpes so even if he’s clean you can still get cold sore herpes. And if he gets cold sores he can pass that to you. But that looks like angular chelitis

Cold sores generally aren’t on the corner like that, but more so typically on the lips.

I get these sometimes when the weather is getting colder. Herpes never occured to me. I think if you are a little short on certain vitamins you have more chance of getting it. I thought it was a B vitamine and/or iron. Since i am a longtime vegetarian i have to watch those anyways and take suplements some times. Licking your lips too much can make it worse as well. If it takes a long time too heal or you are still worried it could be something else you should see a docter about it. Hope it gets better soon!
