BCP with clomid

So my doctor gave me BCP to start for 3 weeks and then stop he said I should have my period after the three weeks once i have my period I wait the 5 days after to take my clomid for 5 days ?

Has Anyone else tryed this ?

I haven’t had my period since August that’s why he gave me this option
