We told our family we were expecting. It wasn't what we expected.

Back story: my mother had me when she was 20, her mother (my grandmother) was PISSED. She blamed my father and broke them up. She wouldn't speak to my mother the entire pregnancy but was happy after I was born.

Fast forward to present time: we told my grandmother we were expecting. I'm 22 years old. I work, I pay taxes and rent. Her reaction was,"what were you thinking?" And proceeded to give us the silent treatment. Hasn't spoken to us in almost 3 weeks. Literally everyone except her and my mothers sister's are happy. My own father is even excited. They are SO disappointed in me.

I'm a freaking adult! What gives??
