Help with becoming a travel agent

I currently have a job that is temporary until the end of December after that I'm wanting to try and stay home with our youngest daughter. I have been thinking about becoming a travel agent its something I think I would be good at. I was wondering if anyone does that and if you can give me some advice on how to get started and some tips.
