What is the difference between a miscarriage and a chemical pregnancy?

I don't like the term chemical pregnancy. I believe no matter how far along you are, it's a miscarriage.

A chemical pregnancy is like an early miscarriage, one that happens so early it would have been before a heartbeat could have been detected, and therefore was probably only detected "chemically" (through an hpt). With a chemical pregnancy, the egg got fertilized but probably didn't implant. A miscarriage is when you lose the baby, but were slightly further along (starting from when a heartbeat can be detected).

What's the difference??
